Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of the C&I engineering works at site applying technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, & techniques to perform activities/assignments that may include a variety of complex features under Deputy Construction Manager’s and Construction Manager’s instructions.
  • Coordinate and support to all activities of the C&I engineering team together with Deputy Construction Manager and Construction Manager.
  • Conduct technical site meetings with the EPC contractor as necessary in order to discuss and resolve problems.
  • Follow up, monitor and expedite the progress of the C&I works by the EPC contractor and regularly report to the Deputy Construction Manager and Construction Manager.
  • Confirm the construction milestone progress of C&I works to settle the invoices of the EPC milestone payments.
  • Support ensuring implementation of Quality Assurance Plan by the EPC Contractor and witness site inspections as required.  
  • Ensure that materials/parts related C&I works is supplied in accordance with the relevant contractual obligations.
  • Manage the C&I works and follow up with EPC contractor in order to keep the project timeline within schedule.
  • Cross discipline coordination and support.
  • Regarding C&I works, provide recommendations for the issuance of all acceptance certificates.
  • Provide recommendations and prepare contractual variations and change orders for technical part relevant to the construction works, if any.
  • Witness of testing, commissioning and performance tests of C&I work of the plant to ensure that the tests are correctly performed according to the approved procedures.
  • Support EHS department to ensure implementation of HSE plan and ESMP.
  • Prepare reports for reporting to management, lenders, Lenders’ Advisors and other agencies as may be required.
  • Coordination with Government Authorities as needed.
  • Ensure compliance to local regulations, codes and standards.
  • Any other task as assigned by the Deputy Construction Manager and Construction Manager.
  • The key responsibilities are illustrative; the responsibilities will include any other duties assigned by Deputy Construction Manager and Construction Manager.
  • The responsibilities include the duties of operation and maintenance of C&I equipment / facilities of the operation phase.

Education Requirement :

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering- (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial & Production Engineering etc)
