Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall administration of the plant operations.
• Achieve agreed monthly plant production and cost targets.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the factory's performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and manage the factory budget, OPEX, CAPEX and revenue targets.
• Timely escalation / reporting of major breakdown, material shortages hampering production activity to Operations Head.
• Resolve any temporary plant capacity issues impacting Monthly Supply Planning activity.
• Review and update Plant Performance on assigned KPI metrics to Management on regular basis.
• Provide strong leadership to the factory staff, including department managers and supervisors.
• Create cross functional team comprising Production, Maintenance and Quality for managing process reliability.
• Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the factory in alignment with overall organizational goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement operational policies and SOPs to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all factory employees by implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Reviews plant net material requirement schedule in discussion with PPC function.
• Review and approve monthly manpower requirement planning.
• Review daily production data and approve any changes to daily production schedule.
• Conduct Daily Production review meeting with the plant functions for timely resolution of issues.
• Ensure conformance to product quality and resolve issues to minimize plant downtime.
• Ensure daily finished goods dispatch plan is achieved.
• Assess training requirement for technical & non -technical skills and conducting various trainings for them.

• Any other tasks assigned by the management.

Education Requirement :

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering

Additional Requirement :

• Prior experience of running the plant operations for a FMCG / process / chemical industry.

• Should have experience in the BEZA rules and regulations!
