Responsibilities:

• Responsible for execution at production floor by ensuring availability of materials, workmen, machineries through communication & follow-ups with different internal & external stake holders; also - organize, monitor and control the assembly area by delegating responsibility, working procedures, material, processes & tools, so that, safety, quality, delivery deadline and cost targets are met. You will provide electrical engineering expert support to production during execution and support them by coordinating within different departments (such as Logistics, Warehouse, Design etc.).
• Monitor and record key performance indicators for assembly groups. If necessary, you will initiate measures to resolve or avoid problems. Must ensure smooth production operations through scheduled meetings with respective team members, discuss about production status/challenges/bottlenecks, also gives regular feedback to technicians about safety & quality issues.
• Need to prepare monthly/weekly/daily production planning, and control as per turnover targets; track input manhours Vs output manhours for releasing monthly productivity figures for responsible assembly groups. You will do budgetary planning (long term and short term), online systems update for budget, maintain capex and keep expenses in control.
• Need to handle internal & external audits (documentation, processes), ensure compliances to various statutory requirements (factories act, cyber security etc.); also coordinate with SRE, EHS, SCM, Sustainability team, Security team, Commercial team etc. for any operational topic.
• Planning, assigning and assisting training and development of technicians, followed by tracking of progress by updating the skills matrix and development-plan will also be a major responsibility of yours.
• You will also organize, lead and execute production/quality/EHS improvement projects and activities as and when required.

Education Requirement :

• Bachelor degree majoring in Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.

Additional Requirement :

• Basic knowledge on lean manufacturing principles and techniques for optimizing processes and eliminating wastage is a major requirement. 
• Basic knowledge on Environment, Health and Safety regulations and procedures.
• Demonstrated skills on supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action on the shop floor is needed including flexibility in work approaches as per business requirements.
• Well-versed with Office365 tools, MS Power point, MS Excel. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills both in Bengali and English with good networking skills to deal with internal/external and international stakeholders; also, to handle shop floor workmen.
• Capable of working under pressure. Excellent negotiation, collaboration and problem-solving approach is required.
