Responsibilities:
A) Financial Planning and Forecasting:
- Lead
the development and execution of the company's financial planning processes,
including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term strategic plans.
- Develop
and maintain accurate financial forecasts based on the current budget, market
conditions, and any emerging trends or changes in the business environment.
B) Performance Analysis & Budgetary
Control:
- Analyze
key financial and operational metrics to provide actionable insights to senior
leadership.
- Conduct
variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying
areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.
- Implement
and enforce cost control measures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Work
with department heads to identify opportunities for cost savings and
operational efficiencies.
C) Business
Intelligence:
- Implement and maintain
robust reporting tools and dashboards to monitor and communicate financial
performance.
- Provide regular updates to
leadership on key performance indicators and trends affecting the business.
D) Strategic
Decision Support:
- Partner with business
leaders to support strategic initiatives through financial modeling, scenario
analysis, and investment appraisal.
- Evaluate the financial
impact of proposed projects, providing recommendations based on sound financial
principles.
E) Risk Management:
- Assess and monitor
financial risks and opportunities, recommending strategies to mitigate risks
and capitalize on opportunities.
- Develop and implement risk
management processes to safeguard the financial health of the organization.
Education Requirement :
- BBA
in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA and/or relevant professional
certification will get preference.
Additional Requirement :
- Strong analytical and modeling skills with proficiency in financial
planning software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to
convey complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
