Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and manage mechanical maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Contribute to strategic planning, set operational goals, and implement action plans to maintain production, quality, and customer service standards.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, anticipate supply needs, and oversee mechanical material orders and invoice approvals.
• Preserve equipment functionality through adherence to operating instructions, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs.
• Plan and control maintenance activities, including skill matrix analysis, skill improvement plans, and collaboration with production manager to minimize unexpected breakdowns.
• Analyze and control spare parts and consumable item consumption versus budget, ensuring cost-effective practices.
• Respond to service requests for mechanical issues, supporting engineering needs to enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Forecast requirements, prepare budgets, schedule expenditures, and analyze variances to support financial objectives.
• Ensure safety and compliance with codes and regulations, actively participating in health and safety initiatives such as PPE matrix, safe work practices, PTW, hazard and behavioral observation, and case analysis.
• Communicate job expectations, evaluate and review job contributions, and enforce procedures and policies for the mechanical maintenance team.
• Maintain equipment supplies, monitor inventory levels, and expedite orders to meet operational demands.
• Provide senior management with advice on safety, compliance, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives to foster a secure working environment.

Education Requirement :

• Minimum B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Preferable from Public University.
• Any advance certificate/ Training will get preference. 

Additional Requirement :

• Having Sound knowledge on Manufacturing plant maintenance.
• Having Knowledge on P&ID, SLD and NDT and Health and Safety
• Effective leadership and Communication skill with Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
