Manage, implement, and oversee all operations of a manufacturing facility.
Optimizing plant performance and meeting production targets whilst ensuring quality standards.
Coach and train apprentices and machine operators
Identify operational pain points and opportunities to improve business practices. Drive internal process improvements.
Develop and implement work instructions, process flowcharts, quality control plans, and other systems that track and optimize productivity. Develop metrics and performance targets that ensure effective return on assets.
Practically able to complete CNC setting and machining operations on VMC 3 and 4 axis. Turning and mill/turn. Able to programme various control systems (FANUC, ,HEIDENHAIN, SEIMENS and GSK)
Prototype part development via CAD tools to simulate the machining process.
Research new equipment and prepare capital expenditures for new equipment purchases.
Develop tooling designs and modifications to ensure high quality and productivity
Specify required tooling, fixtures, and gaging required.
Evaluate tooling, Scrap and Rework cost, determine root cause and corrective action to reduce cost
Participate and lead design review initiatives for new products
Optimize the equipment for minimal setup time, changeover, and operational cycles.
Define and implement the required preventative maintenance method for the machining equipment
Diagnose machine problems working with internal and external resources to resolve any issues immediately.
Education Requirement :
BSC Mechanical Engineer or Electrical from reputed University
Additional Requirement :
Strong experience of LEAN manufacturing principles
Technical degree preferred
Experience with machining and machine troubleshooting
Strong abilities in the use of complex technical tools
Working knowledge of GD&T
CAM experience preferred
Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and presentation
