Responsibilities:

• Effectively delegate any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift and small projects to the right skills in the team, planning and managing effective works.
• Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site.
• Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively.
• Schedule both internal and external work(s) maximising planned down time and reducing unplanned downtime.
• Optimise equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertaken.
• Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend combined with a strategy to manage expenditure.
• Ensure full compliance to the SHEQCS requirement in manufacturing operations by close interaction with the SHE and QA team.
• Identify business improvement opportunities within the organisation.
• Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements.
• Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports.
• Prepare the annual Maintenance budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with legal standards. Manage the budget from identification to completion of projects.
• Executing and documenting  maintenance function  in all utility machine and ensure smooth operation of all utility machinery
• Monitoring daily consumption of diesel and gas consumption also.
• Ensure availability of B-check kits and spare parts for utility machines are available in store.
• Execute annual maintenance of boilers and statutory compliance of boiler inspection.
• Monitor water treatment and ensure all parameters meets to the standard level
• Execute to implement preventive maintenance of radiator and cooling towers with our resources.
• Monitor logbook of all utility machines daily basis.
• Ensure safeties of all utility machines are active.
• Ensure AMC for all utility equipment is done and follow up to implement all the suggestion/ comment made by AMC vendor accordingly.
• Ensure schedule cleaning of all AHUs/dehumidifier filters,fins,strainers,steam traps,PRVs ,PPPU unit and leakage free of all utility pipes and its fitting
• Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures.

Education Requirement :

• Graduation in Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial & Production Engineering from BUET, IUT, IIT or any reputed university of UK, USA.  CGPA must be above 3.5.

Additional Requirement :

• Specialised Knowledge or Skills Required:
  • Food Industry standards, HACCP, ISO, BSTI/ BFSA, FAO and FDA norms.
  • TPM, 5S, LSS exposure will be preferred.
• Critical Leadership Competencies:
  • Quick learner and learning enabler, ability to motivate team, leading and strong command over shop floor people
• Critical Technical-Functional (Professional) Competencies:
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene. Knowledge production and process
